# Kijun Seo > Kijun Seo is an artist working between cinema and computation. His films, browser films and an animated series, newest first. ## Statement My work concerns the distance between lived experience and what can be made visible to others. The systems we use to represent ourselves now sit inside that distance: they shape how we perceive, remember, and relate to one another. What is communicated is never quite what was experienced, yet the representation persists, and goes on without the person it came from. Working between cinema and computation, I am interested in moving images that no longer depend on the recording of a prior event. In what I think of as post-lens cinema, images can emerge through processes unfolding in time, with duration becoming part of their construction rather than simply their measure.
